A mutant with a long history he only partially remembers, Loganā€”or the Wolverineā€”is a little gruff, a little mean, and a lot unpredictable (until you really get to know him). For a professed loner, he finds a surprising number of kids, friends, and family to protect. His level of self-destruction depends on the circumstances, but it's always lurking.
Used and discarded by too many people and agencies to count, Logan is hesitant to trust and intensely loyal to anyone who's earned it. For the most part, he's simply looking for a place to belong, a desire that's frequently at war with his belief that he doesn't deserve it. He has a soft spot for kids and is easily driven from society, regularly disappearing into the middle of nowhere to do some soul-searching that always seems just out of reach.
Prefers whiskey. Smokes like a chimney (but only cigars). Typically rides a motorcycle. Hates flying. In his XMCU portrayal, he's left-handed. His skeletal structure is bonded with a man-made alloy, doubling his body weight. He's heavy.

Timeline
Following his appearance in Apocalypse and the in-universe revised timeline after DoFP, I've used that to guide his backstory closer to the original Weapon X comic rather than what was portrayed in 2009's Origins; everything else is flexible. That said, he doesn't remember a lot of it to begin with so the whole thing's ~wiggles hands~ don't think too hard.
